DG Rangers, Sindh Governor discuss law, order

KARACHI: Director General Sindh Rangers, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar called on Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan here on Thursday.

According to spokesman, Governor House, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar and Governor Ishratul Ebad discussed law and order besides targeted actions being taken against the criminal elements in Karachi.

Meanwhile, traders’ community staged a rally in Karachi against the curtailment in Rangers powers through a Sindh assembly’s resolution passed on Wednesday.

He said in case the Rangers were not allowed the special powers as before, they would welcome the army and Governor’s rule in Sindh.
