PM chairs high level meeting to review security situation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday chaired a high level meeting to review the security situation in the country as well as review the implementation of decisions taken during the Heart of Asia conference.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Army Staff, Director General ISI, Finance Minister, Defence Minister, Interior Minister, the National Security Advisor, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, the PM's special advisor and the Foreign Secretary.

The meeting reviewed the security situation as well as the Afghan peace process and other issues including implementation of decisions taken during the Heart of Asia conference.
