PESHAWAR: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Thursday foiled a major terror bid when they defused two separate bombs in Peshawar, a day after a brazen terrorist attack on the Bacha Khan University left at least 21 dead and several wounded.

The two bombs were found near the Gulbahar flyover in Peshawar, said Shafqat Malik, in-charge of the bomb disposal unit.

The remote control bombs weighed one kilogram each and very succesfully defused by BDS personnel, said Malik.
