Militants hurl 'cracker bomb' at Rangers check-post in Karachi

No loss of life or property was reported in the attack

KARACHI: Unidentified militants hurled a 'cracker bomb' at a Rangers check-post near matric board in North Nazimabad, Karachi early Friday morning.

The cracker attack created panic in the area, however, no loss of life or property was reported in the attack.

Security personnel cordoned off the area following the incident. A search operation was also launched in the area however no arrests were reported.

According to bomb disposal officials, a 'bottle bomb' weighing 250gm was used in the attack.
