ISLAMABAD: The Grand Mufti of Palestine, Muhammad Ahmed Hussein arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi of the Pakistan Ulema Council received the Palestinian Grand Mufti at theairport.
Ashrafi told Geo News that it was the first visit by the Palestinian Grand Mufti to Pakistan.
During his stay he will hold meetings with politicians, parliamentarians, religious scholars and other prominent figures from varioussegments of society to highlight Israeli aggressionas well as brutalities on innocent Palestinians by occupying forces.
The Grand Mufti will also attend the 'Message of Islam Conference' on Wednesday.
