KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi on Saturday indicted Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist Abdul Qadir Hingoro in an illegal weapons case.

While the accused Abdul Qadir pleaded not guilty in the case, the court summoned the witness on next hearing.

Abdul Qadir is accused of possessing illegal weapons and explosive material. He was arrested along with others during a raid at the MQM’s headquarters Nine-Zero.

In the March 11 raid, suspects including Ubaid K2, Farhan Shabbir alias Mulla, Nadir Shah, Amir Saleem alias Sarkata, Kazim Raza Rizvi, Imtiaz, Abdul Qadir and Nadeem Ahmed were arrested.
