KARACHI: The Sindh government on Monday imposed a ban on pillion-riding in the metropolis for four days, which would be applicable from midnight.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, the ban would remain intact from March 1 to March 4.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) Mushtaq Mahr had suggested the provincial government was imposing the ban to maintain peace in the city in the wake of protests.
Women, elderly, children and journalists are exempted from the ban.
