KARACHI: At least three alleged gangsterswere killed in a shootout with Rangers in Lyari late on Thursday night.
According to the paramilitary, the exchange of fire took place in Kumhar Wara area of Lyari.
The accused killed in the shootout were identified as Gul Nawaz alias Pera, Bilawal alias Mendo and Naeem.
The terrorists, killed in the encounter, belonged to Uzair Baloch and Sheeraz Comrade groups of Lyari gangs and were involved in hand grenade attacks and other heinous crimes, a Rangers’ spokesman said.
