Elimination of terror top priority: PM

A high level meeting chaired by the PM condemned the brutal attack on a district and sessions court in Charsadda.

KARACHI: Elimination of terrorism is the country’s top most priority, said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday as he chaired a high-level meeting a day after a suicide bomber killed 17 at a session court in Charsadda.

The meeting was attended by Army Chief, DG ISI and Chaudhry Nisar among others.

The participants of the meeting strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism in Shabqadar on Mondayin which civilians and Law Enforcement Agency personnel lost precious lives.

The meeting agreed that elimination of terrorism from our soil is a national resolve and paid tributes to the personnel of Law Enforcement and Security Agencies who embraced Martyrdoom while fighting this menace of terrorism
