Three police officers are under custody after they were accused of helping an alleged terrorist flee on Monday

KARACHI: Three police officers are under custody after they were accused of helping an alleged terrorist flee on Monday.

According to Rangers they arrested gang leader Bilal aka Sindhi in an operation conducted on Saturday, and handed over the accused to the Chakiwara police station.

However, Bilal managed to flee from police custody. A case has been registered against three police officers for assisting the accused criminal.

Police and Rangers conducted a joint operation in Lyari’s Singho Lane and Bihar Colony on Monday where two wanted gangsters, Sajjad Baloch aka Golra and Anwar aka Bhora, were arrested.
