Passengers were trapped inside a Pakistan Airline aircraft for over two hours after it crashed into a jet bridge on Saturday

KARACHI: Passengers were trapped inside a Pakistan Airline aircraft for over two hours after it crashed into a jet bridge on Saturday.

The aircraft en route Toronto, from the Jinnah International Airport crashed into a jet bridge while it taxied causing severe damage to its engine and jamming the doors.

Over 300 passengers were rescued from the aircraft.

Civil Aviation Authority has taken blood samples of the pilot to determine his alcohol level. It is possible that the pilot was not conscious during takeoff.
