LAHORE: The judges of subordinate judiciary in Punjab called off their strike after their meeting with Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (LHC), Justice Khawja Muhammed Sharif, Geo News reported Tuesday.

The judges announced to resume their judicial activities from today.

According to the sources, the LHC CJ directed the judges to resolve all issued amicably and all the judges were asked to avoid giving the entire episode the political coloring.

Also, the sources said the induction of new Session Judge Lahore Sohail Nasir in the office would bring forth good results.

On this, the judges of subordinate judiciary withdrew their resignations and called off their strike.
