RAWALPINDI: Indian troops across the Line of Control (LoC) resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling once again last night, in the latest violation of the ceasefire agreement on Pakistan-India border, the ISPR said.

According to the ISPR, the heavy shelling in Neza Pir sector started at 1140 PM last night, continuing for hours and lasting until almost 5:00 AM early this morning.

The Indian guns were silenced after "Pakistan Army troops befittingly responded to Indian unprovoked firing and shelling”, said the ISPR statement.

No loss of life was reported so far in the exchange of gunfire.
