ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said on Monday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has fully recovered and the whole nation awaits his safe return home that is scheduled for Wednesday.
Speaking exclusively to Geo News, he said the prime minster is feeling much better after going through medical checkup in London.
The chief minister Punjab, who is younger brother of the premier, said Pakistan’s journey economic growth will accelerate further after Prime Minister Sharif’s return.
Sources in Sharif family also said that doctors in London have allowed the prime minister to resume traveling and he was expected to land in Lahore on Wednesday.
Shahbaz Sharif said that his elder brother thanked the nation for praying for his speedy recovery during the telephonic conversation.
“We are proud of your [PM Nawaz] leadership qualities and the whole nation awaits your safe return home,” the chief minister conveyed it to the premier.
