MULTAN: Police on Thursday registered a case against a woman who threw acid on a manafter he refused to marry her in Makhdoom Rasheed area of Multan.
The victim waswas critically injured inthe acid attack.Police said amother of four children identified as Shamim, and 25-year-old Sadaqat had illicit relations and when he refused to marry Shamim, she threw acid on him.
Sadaqat was shifted to Nishtar Hospital in a critical situation.
The father of victim Sadaqat has confirmed that the woman threw acid on his son after he refused to get married.
Makhdoom police have initiated action for further investigation.
