Women around the world suffer insecurities when it comes to their body image.

According to the Dove Global Beauty and Confidence Report, which interviewed 10,500 women from 13 different countries, 85 percent of all women and 79 percent of girls admitted they actually choose not to participate in important life activities when they don't feel great about their appearance.

Over 10, 500 women from 13 different countries from the ages of 10 to 64 took part in the survey.

According to survey results only 20% of British women are confident about their bodies. In stark contrast are the women of Africa where over 64% of the women are happy about their body image.

The study also found that around 71 percent of women and 67 percent of girls think the media needs to do a better job portraying women of diverse physical appearance, age, race, shape, and size.

In ashockingrevelation, 9 out of 10 women admitted to stoppingthemselvesfrom eating, jeopardizing theirhealthwhenever they have felt bad about their body image.
