PESHAWAR: The largest hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is awaiting its post mortem facility to become operational despite the passage of three years.

According to sources the provincial government had established the facility three years ago to ease the load on the lone facility available at the Khyber Medical College.

Sources told Geo News that on average six to seven bodies are brought to the Lady Reading Hospital daily but those bodies are shifted to the Khyber Medical College for post mortem. This adds to the rush at Khyber Medical College as post mortems are often delayed.
