KARACHI: Police apprehended seven suspects from different areas in Karachi on Monday night seizing weapons from them, while three people were wounded upon resistance during a robbery in Korangi, police officials and rescue sources said.
According to rescue sources, three people were injured when they resisted a robbery in Korangi K Area on Monday night.
An encounter took place in Mominabad, after which a wounded suspect was arrested, police said. Officials also recovered weapons and cash from him.
The suspect was said to be involved in murder and robberies.
Meanwhile, police conducted multiple raids in Ittehad Town and rounded up five street criminals, said SP Baldia.
One more gang war suspect was held as the law enforcers conducted search operations in Lyari's Bihar Colony and Agra Taj areas.
A handgun and a grenade was recovered from him, while two of the suspect's accomplices managed to get away.
