MOHMAND AGENCY: At least 36 people were killedand over 30 injured in a blast at a mosque in tehsil Anbar in Mohmand Agency on Friday, the political administration sources said.
According to the political administration sources, the explosion took place whenpeople were returning home from the mosque after Friday prayers.
They stated that the explosion seems to be a suicide attack, adding thatfive children were also among the dead.
It further said that the dead bodies were shifted to hospitals in Mohmand and Bajaur Agencies, and rescue activities are being carried out at the blast site.
