Mirza directs police to strengthen liaison with traders

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Sunday directed the IG Police to adopt practical measures for addressing the reservations of business community in connection with law and order.

Taking notice of the reports being carried by print and electronic media about deteriorating law and order, Dr. Mirza ordered the DIGs of the relevant zones to forge better coordination with trade associations of their respective areas.

He said the business community has a significant role in the progress of the province and country. To achieve economic stability it is imperative that trade activities continue without any interruption, he added.
