KARACHI: A resolution seeking an investigation into Panama Leaks was adopted in the Sindh Assembly on Monday.

The resolution was tabled by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with senior education minister Nisar Khuhro alleging that the federal government on purpose was disrupting the probe. “The prime minister should launch the investigation from his house,” Khuhro said.

A resolution regarding the Panama Leaks was also tabled by the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf but was opposed by PPP. Nisar Khuhro said the PPP would not support a resolution which seeks to declare the prime minister ineligible without an investigation.
