KARACHI: Investors remained interested in share trading on the second trading day of the week despite political instability.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has announced a rally to Raiwind, which created political instability. Despite these odds the Pakistan Stock Exchange ended on a positive note. At the end of trading day on Tuesday, the index gained 73 points and ended at 40,294.

The market recorded trading of 573.5 million shares. The trading recorded I 404 companies where shares of 191 companies witnessed increase and 194 companies recorded decline. However, shares of 19 companies were remained unchanged.
