Three accomplices of the deceased terrorists manage to get away during the encounter, say CTD sources
SHEIKHUPURA: Six terrorists affiliated with an outlawed organisation were killed in an encounter in here on Saturday, law enforcement sources told Geo News.
Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel placed a security check at Faisalabad Bypass Road after being tipped of terrorists' presence. Meanwhile, the law enforcers signaled a car and two motorcycles to pull over that they opened fire.
The retaliatory fire by CTD personnel killedsix terrorists, sources said, who belonged to a banned organisation.
However, three accomplices of the deceased managed to get away during the encounter.
CTD personnel also recovered three Kalashnikovs, three handguns, two kg explosives from the deceased.
