KARACHI: Sindh Minister Industries & Trade Manzoor Wasan on Monday said that the wedding halls in the provincewould close by 10 PM from November 1.
The provincial minister was talking to the media after a meeting with Marriage Halls and Lawn Owners’ Association.
“Even if it’s a minister or MPA son’s wedding the same rule will apply and the functionwill end by 10 PM,” he said.
He said that for public awareness advertisements will be published in newspapers.
The minister also assured the association members that he would convey all the points discussed in the meeting to the Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah.
CM Sindh had earlier in a meeting directed concerned departments to make sure wedding halls are shut down by 10 PM, starting Nov 1.
Before the new ordersmarriage halls were instructed to closeat midnight, although sometimes the events would stretch laterthan the allowed timings.
