ISLAMABAD: In an obvious reference to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf`s ‘celebratory’ rally, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique once again raisedthe political temperature by saying that it was only possible at aPTI gathering, where 5,000 chairs could accommodate 10 lakh people.
Speaking in a press conference right after the PTI`s rally on Wednesday, Rafique said that Imran Khan was a good-for-nothing politician, further adding, some positivity was expected from the PTI chairman but in the name of rally, Pakistan witnessed nothing but a 'circus'.
“He has called for our inspection, let me say that to him we have been giving inspections from time to time, be it civilian governments or dictatorship, but what if someone starts inspecting you,” Rafique said.
He said that Imran Khan`s target has always been government and an ill-civilized man always remain a failure.
“He (Imran Khan) desires to compete with Nawaz Sharif. Why not he first matches his caliber,” he said.
Rafique also expressed disappointment over the comments of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa Pervaiz Khattak, and called them, ‘non-parliamentary’.
“Today also he conspired to sketch a line between Pashtun and Punjabi, we know very well how brave you are. You didn’t even get out of your car during protests,” he added.
