Eight bags full of weapons were recovered from the house which include seven M4 rifles, six sub-machine guns, two 7mm rifles, two .223 rifles, four 12-bore, one G3, one 222 rifle and two 9 mm pistols, according to sources.

LEAs also found two police caps and two daggers from the house.

Sources claimed that the weapons belong to Nisar Morai, a former chairman of the Fisherman cooperative society, also known to be frontman for Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

Morai was released on bail on October 17 in former Steel Mill's chairman Sajjad Hussain’s murder case.

But police have remained tight-lipped over the matter and, after the news was aired on Geo News, registered a case at the Boat Basin Police Station against unknown persons. The place where weapons were recovered has been registered in the police case as a garbage dump.

Sources claimed that police have been pressurized from publicizing the news.
