ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Friday said that he was a dictator for those who want to spread violence and anarchy in the country.
Addressing a ceremony after the inauguration of Online Complaint System at NADRA in Islamabad, he said, “If I was a real dictator, I would have never let Pervez Khattak and his team gather in Islamabad on November 2”.
Calling Bilawal Bhutto Zardari a “non-serious kid”, he said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman was ridiculing a man his father’s age by calling him chacha (uncle).
Nisar further said that for now he was ignoring Bilawal’s question and would talk about it in detail some other day.
The minister said Bilawal couldn't even speak Urdu let alone his mother tongue Sindhi.
He announced the establishment of passport office in all districts of the country from February next year, adding that twenty thousand Passports have been cancelled.
In the question-answer session, he said that after steps taken by the government, no one can now come to Pakistan without valid documents.
Answering a question, he said protest and sit-ins are the right of every citizen and they will be facilitated in all manner.
However, he said the way of lockdown or shutdown of the capital and any other city will be stopped according to law.
‘English Daily’s news fabricated’
Nisar said that civil-military leadership was on the same page when it comes to the matter of non-state actors.
He said that Dawn’s story was not a ‘security leak’, it was a fabricated news. “I have asked the editor of the newspaper to call back Cyril Almeida”, he said.
Interior Minister said that the investigative committee has decided to hear the position of the reporter.
