Shahid has four siblings and is the only bread winner for his family.

“In November 2014 we were engaged in Shahid’s marriage arrangements but all the happiness turned into a nightmare when we heard that Shahid’s kidney and liver are not working properly,” said his mother.

Her eyes moist with tears, Shahid's mother added that she did not have enough money for the transplant and urged government officials and philanthropists to help save her child’s life.

According to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Shahid has been given medical treatment and he comes for dialysis every week, but both his transplants will need to be done in India or China and this will cost Rs 7 million.

According to the Shahid's doctor, his kidney has collapsed due to stones and there are several other issues with his vital organs.

Shahid Shafeq said he wants to live and does not want to die before seeing his three sisters married off.

He has urged the president, prime minister, chief minister and other social workers to help him and save his life.
