ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly said that he never demanded mid-term polls but has been termed an enemy of the country, Geo News reported.
He noted that the prime minister will lose the right to be in the office if he loses the majority in the Parliament.
In a speech in National Assembly he warned the government over increasing inflation, deteriorating law and order situation and corruption. Soon the government would lose majority, he said. ‘Allies of PPP are sitting outside the assembly.’
Why do the prime minister not take notice of harassment of Sherry Rehman, he questioned. ‘Charter of Democracy is only 20 percent implemented not 80 percent.’
