LIMA: Peru claims a lost tribe, previously untouched by civilization, has been discovered.

Peruvian authorities have released video footage of what is claimed to be a previously undiscovered group of Indians in the Amazon.

The country’s government-run agency for indigenous people discovered the tribe during routine surveillance in an area known for illegal logging.

Agents of the government casually met the tribe by initiating first contact at local streams where the tribe had gone in search of food and water.

The government of Peru has allowed footage to be displayed of the natives and the tribal tools used by them in their day to day existence.
