Terror plot foiled in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A terror plot has been foiled by Islamabad Police during a action in which 130 kg of explosives were recovered and a woman has been arrested, Geo News reported Monday.

The ammunition was being transported from Peshawar to Rawalpindi's Raja Bazar, SP Industrial Area Islamabad, Jameel Hashmi said.

According to police sources, explosives weighing 130 kilograms, can be used in making bombs. 'A woman Umtari Bibi has also been detained and case has been filed against her.'
