KURRAM AGENCY: At least 15 alleged terrorists were gunned down by the security forces on Sunday during an operation in FATA's Kurram Agency, according to the political administration officials.

In the cross-fire, four suspected militants were also injured. Among the deceased, 11 terrorists were foreign citizens, reveal sources.

As a result, security has been tightened in Parachinar and among other areas of the agency.

Law Enforcement Agencies started a nation-wide crackdown in lieu of the back-to-back bomb blasts in the country, killing more than 100 people.

At least 88 people were martyred when a suicide bomber attacked the crowded Sufi shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan on February 17, injuring up to 343 others.

After the attack, the Pakistan-Afghanistan border had been closed with immediate effect due to security reasons.
