KARACHI: At least 70 suspects were taken into custody by the personnel of law-enforcement agencies early Saturday morning.
In a clash with alleged dacoits, a person was killed by police in Mominabad area of Orangi Town.
According to reports, the search operations were conducted in the areas of Gulberg, Joharabad, Azizabad, Haideri Market, Taimuria, New Karachi.
Punjab search operations
According to ISPR, 600 suspects were arrested in more than 200 raids conducted by the authorities in Punjab. In Lahore, nine suspects were detained from Model Town, whereas, in Vehari, 45 people were apprehended.
