DUBAI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) got a big boost ahead of Sunday's final as the owner of Peshawar Zalmi franchise, Javed Afridi announced that five foreign players are ready to visit Pakistan if the team qualifies for the final.
"Five of our players will come to Pakistan if Zalmi qualifies for the final in Lahore," Javed Afridi told Geo.tv.
He further confirmed that Dawid Malan, Marlon Samuels, Darren Sammy, Chris Jordan & Samit Patel have already been issued visas for Pakistan.
Quetta has already qualified for the final of PSL, but all the team's foreign players have refused to tour Pakistan.
The opponent of Quetta in the final will be known after final playoff between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi on Friday.
Javed Afridi said that agreement of Zalmi players is a huge news for Pakistan.
"This is a big thing and Peshawar Zalmi stands united with Pakistan and Pakistan Cricket," said Afridi.
