MOHMAND AGENCY: Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt visited operational areas of Suran Valley in Mohmand Agency on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Corps Commander interacted with troops and appreciated their valiant attempt to foil the terrorist attack on Sunday night.
Five soldiers embraced martyrdom foiling a terrorism bid on three border checkpoints in Mohmand Agency on Sunday night. At least 10 terrorists were also killed in the shoot-out between army personnel and terrorists, said ISPR.
The Corps Commander appreciated the high morale of troops and praised their bravery and courage in the line of duty.
