Woman allegedly kills man she met on social media

GUJRANWALA: Ayoung man was found dead in the fields of Badiana in Sialkot on Sunday, police informed.

The deceased's cousin suspects a girl he befriended on social media killed him. The cousin added that the woman and the deceased, identified as Sheron Bhatti, 22, met through Facebook.

According to the police, the woman is a resident of Sambrial. Her parents were arrested while the deceased's mobile, clothes and other things were recovered from her house. The woman's parents told the police she has gone to Nepal.

Bhatti and the woman had decided to go abroad, but initial investigation reports reveal she killed him after taking the money from the man.

Bhatti was a resident of Baghbanpura and was pursuing a course in nursing. His mother told the police she did not know the woman. The mother added her son was studying and wanted to go abroad.
