QUETTA: Security forces thwarted a terror plot during an operation near Chamanin the early hours of Sunday,Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
At least two suspected terrorists were arrested andaround 80 kilograms of explosives were seized during the operation, the ISPR said.
Theexplosives were foundfitted in avehicle that was prepared in Kandahar and brought in Pakistan for use in a terror attack, the statement added.
The operation was carried out onthe basis of actionable intelligence reports, the military's media wing said.
According to the ISPR, Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad to eliminate the residual and latent threat of terrorism in the country continues with full force nationwide.
