NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday test-fired advanced version of its 'Brahmos' cruise missile, according to Indian media outlets.

The surface-to-surface cruise missile was launched from a mobile autonomous launcher (MAL) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Indian media claimed that Wednesday's test was successful as the "test flight met all parameters."

They said the missile hit its target accurately.
