KARACHI: Two people were killed and nine wounded in the wake of a two separate traffic accidents in Karachi late Friday, according to rescue members.
The first incident occurred in Liaquatabad when a van collided with an auto rickshaw, rescue members said. It left nine people, including women, injured.
The wounded persons were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Sources said the wounded people received minor injuries.
The collision reportedly resulted from over-speeding.
In another incident, a car hit a motorbike near Sabzi Mandi on Main Super Highway. Subsequently, two people were killed in the crash.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for further formalities.
