Lahore gets woman SHO after 17 years

The announcement came after DIG – operations issued orders for appointment and transferring of SHOs of numerous police stations

LAHORE: For the first time in seventeen years, a female police offer was appointed as the station house officer (SHO) of a police station in Lahore on Saturday.

The announcement came after deputy inspector general (DIG) – operations issued orders for the appointment and transferring of SHOs of numerous police stations.

Sub-inspector Ghazala Sharif was appointed as the SHO of the Rang Mahal police station.
