Clash broke out when other workers tried to stop the protesters
FAISALABAD: The health department office turned into a battlefield on Tuesday when vaccinators and other workers descended into a brawl.
The vaccinators were protesting against the health department for not paying their salaries of six months during which they worked in the anti-measles drive.
However, a group of the health department workers tried to stop the protesters, which further enraged the later, leading to a brawl between the two groups.
During the clash, the vaccinators and other workers battered each other. The incident left many workers injured. However, police reached the site later and controlled the situation.
