Chinese couple kidnapping: Police release sketch of suspect

QUETTA: The police released on Saturday sketch of the suspected kidnapper of the two Chinese nationals, who were abducted from Jinnah Town on May 24.

However, investigation is under way to recover the Chinese couple.

The Chinese pair, identified as Li Zang Hing and Ming Leassi Ha, were working at a Korean centre nearby Jinnah Town and had been teaching Korean language to the area residents for more than a year.

According to the details, the foreign nationals had gone to eat at a local restaurant when four unidentified men took them away in a car. Moreover, a security guard was also injured by the gunmen when he tried to stop the kidnapping.

Following the kidnapping, the police formed a three-member investigation team under the leadership of DIG Counter-Terrorism Department to probe the case. The team also includes SSP Investigation and SP Saddar.
