QUETTA: Three policemen were martyred while a passer-by wasinjured when unidentified persons opened fire at a checkpoint on Sariab Road in Quetta on Sunday.
One policeman died on the spot while the other two succumbed to the bullet wounds at the hospital, according to hospital sources.
The rescue sources said they had taken the body of the killed policeman and injured people to Civil Hospital Quetta. Doctors at the facility had stated the condition of the two personnel to be critical.
