Hot, dry weather expected in most parts of country in the next twenty-four hours

A continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours. However, rain and thunderstorm are expected at few places in Sargodha, Faisalabad, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas the MET said.

Past weather:

The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Quetta division and Kashmir.

Kashmir: Garidupatta 05, Balochistan: Barkhan 04.

Dadu, Sibbi, Larkana 46°C, Nokkundi, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Rahimyarkhan, Sukkur 45°C.
