FAISALABAD: A man allegedly killed his two sisters in the name of honour in Faisalabad’s Nishatabad vicinity late Thursday.

The suspect, Allah Ditta, was taking his sisters, 18-year-old Sidra and 14-year-old Aliza to home from their paternal home when he strangled the two girls and escaped, police officials said.

The bodies of the teenage girls were shifted to Allied Hospital for a post-mortem.

The police are on the lookout for the suspect, a police spokesperson said.

Earlier on May 8, a father in collusion with his son strangled his daughter to death, in what appeared to be a case of honour killing, in Karachi’s Keamari area.
