LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in an implied reference to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said, “a politician expert in levelling allegations has broken all records of lying.”
In a statement released on Sunday, the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said the Pakistani nation only wishes to see the country growth and development.
He implored that the public should remain indifferent to long marches and protests and said that those trying to hamper the country’s progress should “have mercy on the nation.”
“We [PML-N] will serve the nation selflessly,” the Punjab chief minister said, adding that “We will live and die with the nation.”
After damning revelations against the Sharif family in the final report of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team, the Supreme Court will hear the responses of the relevant parties on Monday (tomorrow).
