QUETTA: An explosion targeting a security forces vehicle in Balochistan's Harnai district martyred six security personnel and injured four on Monday.
The explosion destroyed the vehicle of the Frontier Corps and martyred six personnel, said Tehsildar Mank Khan.
He added that the explosion was done via remote control.
The injured were transferred to Civil Hospital Khost, added the tehsildar.
The area was cordoned off after the explosion by security forces and a search operation was launched.
Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri condemned the blast and instructed authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.
The blast came two days after an army truck was targeted in Quetta’s Pishin Stop area. The attack had martyred at least 15 people, including eight army personnel.
