GARHI KHUDA BUKSH: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the inquiry of assassination of Benazir Bhutto was sub judice but it will soon be made public as progress will be made in the investigation.
Talking to mediamen here on Sunday, Gilani said martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto was a tragedy not only for Pakistan but for the whole world as she was an epoch making personality and a global leader.
Not only people in Pakistan but around the world are mourning her loss, he added.
Gilani said Pakistan People's Party (PPP) will continue the politics of reconciliation according to vision of Benazir Bhutto.
Prime Minister said the political parties have remained together on issues of national interest and they played their role in every step of the democratic process.
The government will move forward on issues in consultation with other political parties, he added.
"We are taking along the political parties," he said adding the parties unanimously passed the 18th and 19th constitutional amendments in parliament.
To a question, he said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) are following their own manifesto different than other parties and have their own programme and priorities.
Gilani said Maulana Fazlur Rehman always lent support on national issues and he remained ally of PPP government and worked with it and he respected him.
He pledged to fulfill the mission and manifesto of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Prime Minister announced that funds have been released for a model village in Garhi Khuda Buksh and building of a lawyers colony.
