Two dead, 25 left injured in traffic accidents across country

Rescue sources feared casualties to rise, as several of those injured were in critical condition

RAHIM YAR KHAN/MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Traffic accidents across the country claimed at least two lives, while 25 were left injured in the wee hours of Monday.

A collision between a van and oil tanker in Rahim Yar Khan killed at least two people, while 18 were left injured after the accident and shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

Rescue sources feared casualties to rise, as several of those injured were in critical condition and had to be provided first aid on site of the accident.

In Mandi Bahuddin, at least seven were left injured after a car fell into a ravine.

The injured, including two women and three children, were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
