Raja Riaz condemns Taseer's killing

LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the assassination of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer and termed it a great loss for the party and the country.

Condemning the incident here on Tuesday, he said that PPP workers had been deprived of a great leader and a companion, adding that his contribution to the party would be remembered for ever.

He prayed for the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family of Salman Taseer.
